Research and Development
A current focus of my research activities is the automatic recognition of documents ("Document Image Analysis"). In several projects I am working with the Python library Gamera that has been developed by Michael Droettboom and others at the "Digital Knowledge Center" of the Johns Hopkins University (USA). Meanwhile I have become one of the core developers of Gamera myself.
